Led Group Practice: The Bhujangasanas I & II

Sunday, December 28, 2025
10:00 AM ET: Sequencing Activity/Philosophy Discussion
10:15 AM ET: Group Practice

In the first part of this session we’ll design the sequence together, beginning with an asana from the Level 4 (Advanced) syllabus as the starting point and work backwards, choosing one asana from each syllabus (Level 3, then 2, then 1) that will prepare the embodiment for the Level 4 asana.

We’ll then practice the sequence from Level 1 - 2- 3 - 4, adding in inversions and sharing any obstacles that arise (and they will) on the path, finding solutions to surmount them together.

Light on Adjustments, in Practice: Aligning the
Formless Within the Form

An Enrichment Weekend for Practitioners and Teachers January 22nd - 25th, 2025
10:00 - 12:30 AM ET, 2:00 - 5:00 PM ET (Thurs - Sat),
9:00 - 11:30 AM ET (Sun); $425

B.K.S. Iyengar’s methodology highlights alignment of the outer form of the body in postures (asana) as a path to “enlightenment” of the formless Soul contained within it. In these classes we will traverse the path from the outermost layer of the skin, to the space infinite reservoir of tranquility that is its innermost core.

In the morning classes we’ll align our whole selves, from Tadasana to Sirsasana to Savasana, in asana classes inspired by the direct teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.

In the afternoon sessions we’ll study the ancient source teachings descriptions of the subtle anatomy of Yoga before practicing hands-on adjustments across all the families of postures with the goal of “passing from fearful fragmentation to fearless fullness in the changeless whole (The Katha Upanishad).”

with Holly Kostura, CIYT-Level 3, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500

FREE Preview Class: Saturday, September 20, 2025
12:00 - 2:00 PM ET
Series Begins in November 2025.

Are you a Yoga practitioner experiencing physical limitations or managing chronic discomfort, or a teacher seeking to refine your ability to adapt poses and teach from a therapeutic lens?

In this series both practitioners and teachers will learn to practice *intelligently* with the body, especially with common areas that experience discomfort such as the neck, shoulders, hips, low back, and knees. And because we can reach the organic body through the structural body conditions affecting the physiological body will be integrated into each session. '

Each session will explores how to adapt foundational asanas using props, and not just to make poses more accessible, but to reveal the *therapeutic actions* that support structural integrity and lasting relief.

These subtle, refined actions help restore balance, build stability, and reduce pain, skills as valuable to the teacher as they are to the student.

For yoga teachers, this series offers practical tools and deeper insight into how and why prop use works—so you can better support students of all abilities and conditions. Learn to see beyond the form and guide others toward a more functional and healing experience of asana.

This program is limited to 25 participants. Those joining us for the preview class will receive access to early registration and special pricing.
