Yoga Svarupa: The Essential Form

An Iyengar Yoga Immersion for Practitioners and Teachers

Taught online and in-person by Holly Kostura, Senior Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher

Yoga sādhanā is an opportunity to reach a space inside the body-mind where we are fully present with our full presence.

This is its essential power: to reveal the formless contained within the form.

In this immersion you will deepen the connection between your unique body-mind-Spirit by engaging yourself in the process called practice.

These sessions will be curated to prepare for each day’s target family of postures (ie, hip openers, twists) and offer insight into their effects on the body-mind.

You will learn to aim at a “target posture” suitable for your level of practice by:
* looking at the classical configuration
* feeling your way into the constitution
* understanding the relationship between the body-breath-mind and the posture
